Greek Intervarsity is a campus organization focused on helping fraternity and sorority students know and love Jesus Christ.
Across the country over 750,000 students are involved in the greek system. Of which, a minority of these students are being reached by campus, church and parachurch ministries. Although less than 3% of the U.S. population is greek, alumni from today's fraternities and sororities make up:
- 48% of all U.S. Presidents
- 30% of Fortune 500 Executives
- 40% of all U.S. Supreme Court Justices
- 30% of U.S. Congress
- 42% of U.S. Senate
Our goal is to evangelize this unique culture, which has historically been closed off by Christians and condemned as pagan. Greek IV wants to empower greek students to live a life of obedience and share Jesus with their communities. We also provide resources for student leaders to offer Bible discussion groups and large events in their own houses.
