Greek Intervarsity is a campus organization focused on helping fraternity and sorority students know and love Jesus Christ.
Across the country over 750,000 students are involved in the greek system. Of which, a minority of these students are being reached by campus, church and parachurch ministries. Although less than 3% of the U.S. population is greek, alumni from today’s fraternities and sororities make up:
- 48% of all U.S. Presidents
- 30% of Fortune 500 Executives
- 40% of all U.S. Supreme Court Justices
- 30% of U.S. Congress
- 42% of U.S. Senate
Although greeks have the influence to change the world, they are often overlooked by the church. Greek IV’s mission is to love greeks by sharing the Good News about Jesus to every student and by offering those interested an opportunity to grow in their relationship with Jesus. This is done primarily through small group Bible studies in the houses lead by ministry leaders (HMLs) that are active members of that organization. Our vision is see greek students transformed, houses renewed and world-changers developed.
